Macaque hadn’t really wanted anything to do with Wukong’s alternate universe apprentice. He would admit to curiosity; anyone would, but he had little desire to spend any time with him. Beyond assuaging his initial guesses about the boy, and wringing the knowledge of how to kill Wukong from him, he had little desire to “hang out” with him.
