Summary
"Need, want. Were they really that different? When had his needs ever been honored by anything other than spit in his face and a knife in his back? Andrew didn’t need anything. He was callous, stone-hearted. A monster. Maybe he was plagued with existence solely to bring misery to those he touched, turning them to crumbling stone. Cursed to serve his sentence on this earth alone, never to be looked in the eye in anything but fear."
Andrew is having a Bad day. What starts as overstimulation and sensory overload turns into a meltdown that triggers feelings and memories long buried, but perhaps too close to the surface. And just maybe, Andrew is more understood than he thinks.

Summary
“Did you tell Andrew what happened?”
“My phone is dead,” Neil grumbled, slumping back like the device had betrayed him, too. “And besides, Andrew is on a plane right now, so he wouldn’t get to see my message for the next few hours anyway.”
Aaron regarded him with an unimpressed look, taking out his phone and sending his twin a quick message.
ur idiot boyfriend had an accident. patched him up at hospital. no need to worry. mild concussion + minor injuries. monitoring his concussion at ur place until u r back.
Or, because Neil Josten’s survival instincts are nonexistent the moment Andrew is not in his vicinity, Aaron is stuck playing doctor to the world’s worst patient, trying to decipher whether “I’m fine” means actually fine or bleeding internally, and pretending he doesn’t care when everyone knows he does.
