Summary
The door swung open to reveal a bright eyed Midoriya with a ghost of a smile on his face. For one precious moment everything seemed normal, and Shouto basked in the feeling.
It shattered as quickly as it began. Midoriya's smile fell the moment he laid eyes on him. Midoriya took in his slumped posture, his disheveled state, and the blood staining his face.
Before Midoriya could speak, Shouto heard himself croak. “I’m sorry.” He stared at the ground with unfocused eyes. “I’m tired and my feet are cold. I just wanted somewhere to lay down for a little while.”
______________________In an act of self-defense, Shouto kills Endeavor. Shouto has to navigate the aftermath of his father's death and try to return to his normal life while pretending nothing happened.
