It was an intriguing prospect, sabotaging such a clearly adept and able law enforcement figurehead. You’d literally be the bane of her existence, and that thought just tickled you.
    Yes, yes, being a double agent seemed like a pretty nice gig. Working the system, the best of both worlds, etcetera... at least it would be if you weren't treated like a dog on a chain, or a weapon to be held by your world-wide organized crime mafia; the Kage-Gumi. Oh, well. You were used to that aspect of the job by now. What you weren't used to was falling in love with your mission target, and boy were you falling hard.

    Working as a maid for three of the most terrifying, gorgeous, high-powered women on the planet wasn’t exactly on my bingo card. Yet here I am—dusting priceless furniture and trying not to cry in a walk-in pantry while being judged by women who could either step on me or own my soul. Or both. At the same time.

    Every day is chaos. I cook. I clean. I garden. I get stabbed. I get kidnapped. I recover. Then I get dragged into more problems that definitely weren’t in my job description. It’s like the universe went, "Hey, what if we dropped one underqualified, overstimulated gal into a murder mansion and hit record?"

    They say I'm the head maid now. Which is weird, because I’m pretty sure I'm the only maid here. But somehow, I’m keeping up—through all the flirting, near-death experiences, existential crises, and more emotional whiplash than any one person should legally be allowed to endure.

    Oh yeah... and *ahem* It’s "romantic" comedy meets psychological thriller with a splash of emotional damage.

    And maybe… maybe I’m not just surviving anymore.

    Maybe this mansion is starting to feel like home... HAH! Yeah, right.
