James owns a coffee shop. Will cleans a popular bar after hours. The same city, yet miles apart it seems. Until of course James is forced to step out of his comfort zone and away from his cosy life, when his unofficial band are booked to debut in the very bar Will spends his dreary days earning a living. Set in London.DISCLAIMER- If any of the people that inspire these characters (WillNE/James Marriott) are uncomfortable with what i have written and wish for me to alter it or take it down i will instantly do so. I do NOT ship these people irl and simply use them as inspiration.

Summary

Will seems to like James back but luck is never on James's side. They're meant for each other, he just needs Will to realise it too.

Summary
James would describe his life in one word, and that was cozy. His life was the opposite of hectic; he ran a flower store, tucked into the nicer parts of his city (which was surprising, given that London was typically a very unsafe area), he had friends to surround him and a cat that would anticipate his arrival all day, every day, waiting for him to finish his shifts.
Will, on the other hand, wouldn’t. His life summed into one word, he’d decided, was buzzing. A tattoo artist never had an easy job, really; he was yelled at near-daily despite the pretty perfect tattoos he’d ink onto people's skin. Despite his over-the-top caffeine consumption, he had a steady hand and an eye perfect for tuning in on finer details.
Will was James’ favourite regular. James was Will’s favourite not-so-regular.
OR
James owns a flower store, Will's a tattoo artist. James gets his tattoos done by Will, who just so happens to frequent James' flower store to buy flowers for his girlfriend.

Summary
It wasn’t that William was particularly annoying. He was just so, so infuriating.
To James, anyway; the guy seemed a prick, seemed to have that slightly too-cocky persona and a jawline that could slice through anything seamlessly. Every guy he’d met like that ended up far too haughty and far, far too much for James’ liking… despite his own flaws, their similarities, his own too-cocky attitude and his winners complex.
It wasn’t that James was particularly rude. He just seemed to have it out for Will, seemed to have built up an irritation towards him.
And what had Will done to warrant it?
Absolutely nothing.
OR
A British Youtuber (background characters being primarily gaming youtubers) Formula One au in which James works in McLaren and Will works in Williams, and they just so happen to be rivals both on the track and off.

Summary
Will’s type was often described in 3 descriptions: between the heights of 5’4 to 5’7 (no no, actually, we don’t discriminate 5’2), dark hair, tanned. And there was nout wrong with it, power to them. Except, no one bothered to fill in the ‘female’ section. Or that his type was slowly changing. Perhaps he enjoyed the taller 6’4 heights. The pale skin, sporadically dotted with inked tattoos. The dark hair, still remained, though perhaps taller than people would’ve assumed to be his type.
Assumed. That word was prevalent in every aspect of his life. -
