Summary
Philza was a vampire who valued responsibility and integrity. He would not allow such blatant disregard to those ideals go unpunished.
---
Techno was meant to arrive at the Watson's manor in 1916. But certain geopolitical complications extended the date to 1919.
He could only hope his Master and his Coven would continue their contract in spite of everything. There was no where else for a familiar to really go.
He was just glad he would be dealing with vampires instead of humans.

Summary
The doorbell chimes cheerfully, and Wilbur draws his attention to the door.
“That’s probably the pizza.”
“Yeah, I’m sure it is. I’ll get it.” Wilbur plucks Techno’s wallet from the side table and crosses the space between the living room and the front door, nudging his shoes aside in favor of answering the door.
Wilbur opens the door, creaky hinges and all, and stops. Gilded in the moth light is a boy- young and old at the same time, a golden halo dirtied and worn. His eyes are familiar- a sight he had not seen in three years time.
Wilbur stares at his little brother, who stares right back. Then he shifts, taps a toe on the ground, and clears his throat.
“I didn’t.. I didn’t know where else to go.”
—
Three years ago Wilbur's foster brother ran away without a trace. Wilbur never quite got over it, but was forced to move on with his life, certain he'd never see him again- until Tommy reappears on his doorstep one fateful Tuesday. Healing ensues.

Summary
“...Even murder?”
Bingo.
The kid whispers it—barely audible, like the word itself might get him arrested. His eyes dart around the bar, shoulders curling in tight, as though expecting a cop to burst through the door and drag him off in handcuffs.
Wilbur leans in, lowering his voice until it’s just between them, soft and steady. “Even murder,” he says. “I’d never hurt my kid. And I’d never turn them in, either.”
or
Wilbur finds a boy at a bar who reminds him far to much of how Wilbur was as a child—desperate. It only takes on small conversation to bring his new son home, and is it really kidnapping if Tommy comes willingly?

Summary
Then another man is bounding over. Tall, skinny, just like Tommy, except a little bit taller. Brown curls pile upon his head and over his forehead. Tommy can see a strong nose, and a strong chin, and everything clicks as the man leans into Techno’s space and starts excitedly showing him the contents of a brown bakery bag.
“Oh my god! This is perfect!” Tommy exclaims, drawing the attention of the new, cooler man. Cooler because Tommy actually looks like this guy, a little bit, despite the man’s brown eyes and rounded glasses resting upon his nose.
“Excuse me,” Tommy says eagerly, practically bouncing on his feet. “Will you be my pretend-brother?”
---
After getting into trouble at school, Tommy has to take his brother, Phil, to Parent's Night—except Phil is always working, and always exhausted, and Tommy doesn't want to burden him...
He'll just have to find a different brother for Parent's Night instead.
