Summary
Before the Dance of Dragons there was a royal family with Old Valyrian roots who came to the Seven Kingdoms to immerse themselves in culture and to successfully establish trade roots along the coast.
At the end of three long months, the family would return to the Summer Isles from abroad with new ideas, fabrics and a dragon. But something happened and two members of the royal family had to stay behind. Before the Dance of the Dragons, the tension and animosity between the two Targaryen families was almost nonexistent during the few months the Udondati family was in Westeros.
But as vipers lined the court of King’s Landing, the unconscious battle for the Iron Throne was wrought and alliances were made. For when you play the Game of Thrones, you don’t wake the sleeping dragon.
