“Nothing interesting,” AJ hesitates to say more, letting the silence hold the two of them. Graecie seems a bit disappointed, she has a feeling the other knows she's holding back but she’s not sure she’s ready to share.
On one hand, she has to tell someone eventually. On the other, talking about mushy love and feelings is painfully awkward. There has to be something she can say to ease the subject in. “Just… relationship stuff.”
Graecie perks up a bit, glancing over her shoulder. “Oh?”
She shifts in her seat, trying to seem unbothered. “Yeah. I’m sure you know how it is, what with you and Zam.”
The blessing mage pauses for a moment before stirring again, “Me and Zam? Can you pass me some flour please?”
