“Timbo, I am literally wearing only a domino mask on my face. I know for a fact that you have seen pictures of what I look like.” Jason enunciated. Mentally, Jason wondered if this kid was Robin only because there was no one else and Bruce grabbed the first tiny black-haired child he saw.
Tim flushed red again, squeaking. “... Oh. You’re Jason. What- how- oh my gosh I’m embarrassing myself before my hero. I have so many questions- how are you alive? Oh my gosh, you probably think I’m stupid.”
“Yes, now eat your eggs. We got places to go and things to do. Chop chop,” Jason said, gesturing towards the mostly full plate of food.
“You can’t really blame me. It’s been a long while since I’ve slept.” Tim obediently wolfed down his food and looked at Jason expectantly. “What kind of things? What did Dick do with you?”
Jason scolded as he released the baby bird’s legs. “Nuhuh. It’s gotta stay that’s a secret between Dick and I just like how this is going to be. Got it?”
Tim nodded furiously. He whispered breathlessly, “I’m hanging out with Robin. Oh my gosh, I’m hanging out with Robin!”
“You should really be more concerned with the fact that I’m literally kidnapping you.”
“Nah, you’re Robin. You’ll protect me.” Jason mentally added “buy some self-preservation from Target for the replacement” to his grocery list.
