Summary
...someday it will kill you.
When Fox deserts the GAR on a reckless quest to save another clone, Quinlan is tasked with finding him before the Separatists can. But the reasons behind Fox's actions aren't nearly as clear-cut as they seem, and the only way to figure out the truth before it gets them both killed is for Quinlan to get far closer to Fox than he intended.

Bookmarker's Notes
This is a gift, he tells himself firmly. He gets to see his sister alive and well and to live for a little bit as someone that Lan Zhan doesn’t hate and to feel the comforting weight of a golden core once more.
None of it is his to keep. It will kill him one way or another, but that’s okay. It’s more than he’d thought he’d ever have.
He owes Mo Xuanyu and he always pays his debts.

Summary
“Yiling Patriarch,” he begins, and Wei Wuxian’s face clouds.
“Please. That’s not – you know me, Zewu-jun. What’s wrong? Why are you here?” He walks over and Lan Xichen sees he has no weapon, not even his flute. He came to meet Wangji unarmed, defenseless. With a smile on his face.
“I’m here to ask for your help. It’s Wangji. He’s ill.”

Bookmarker's Notes
“The measure of love is not ease.”
“‘Because [Lan Zhan and I are] both living in cages of our own making, but I think that maybe, he could escape his.’
‘And you cannot?’
Wei Wuxian’s smile is smooth and simple and heartbreaking.”

Summary
Red Hood kept his distance from the Bats. They had something akin to a truce, but they always maintained a healthy level of mutual wariness and animosity. None of them knew him, not in any way that mattered, and he was content keeping things that way.
Unfortunately, secrets had a way of coming to light.

Futile care: "the continued provision of (medical) care or treatment when there is no reasonable hope of a cure or benefit." [source]
Jason Todd-Wayne is the Red Hood, Batman has written him off, and Bruce Wayne apparently has no idea any of this is happening.
Oliver Queen has to fix this.
