Whatever crazy visions Lance is apparently having enter the very forefront of his thoughts. First row, VIP-tickets with a meet-and-greet, kiss on the cheek included, the whole package. It’s like a dam inside his mind breaks.
Keith’s inky black hair shines, flecks of red and the nasty purple streaked into it, his skin nearly glowing, his smile blinding with the slightest sliver of his chipped incisor showing, and have his eyes always been this intensely striking? Have his shoulders always looked this broad?
In the light, Keith looks more beautiful than ever.
Lance’s stomach sinks with the realization. He thinks he’s gonna hurl. He’s going to throw up everywhere. He’s gonna–

“What’s wrong?” Deku asked immediately. He watched as Bakugo paced in the little waiting room designated for visitors. He’d known by Bakugo’s text that something wasn’t right. Ending up in the hospital wasn’t ideal but it also wasn’t particularly rare in their line of work; if something wasn’t really, really wrong, Bakugo wouldn’t have even bothered to mention it.
Bakugo’s voice was gravelly and so strained it almost hurt to listen to it. “The last thing he remembers is fighting Rappa, trying to protect Fat.”
Or: one minute, Kirishima is the pro hero he always wanted to be, married to the manly love of his life and living the dream.
