Summary
Starts right after episode 4x04; Metamorphosis. Sam, confused by things being thrown at him from all directions, begins to find things while researching that, quite frankly, scares him. Nor can he share them with Dean as he has no proof beyond a feeling that they are right. Couple that with the trust issues he and Dean are having and the mess with Ruby, he decides that it’s better for all that he vanish for a while so he can sort things out then deal with what he now knows. Dean, being who he is, isn’t about to let his brother just vanish on him yet again, especially with what looks like Armageddon looming on the horizon.
