Grace honest-to-God flinches, mouthing "Mister?" with great confusion.
Their eyes meet, and Grace's mouth drops open. He yelps. "Mr. March? What are you doing here?" he asks, voice hushed. "How did you get here?" He sounds amazed. Why is he amazed? Does Grace think of him as a shitty detective? Why is he so amazed that Holland found him?
Holland is rather offended.

Summary
Grace roughly knows that March is a widower, because Holly confided in him once—albeit vaguely—but he managed to extract a brief summary of what happened. A tragic accident, a fire that burned down the March family's home, a mother who passed away, and a father who wallowed in guilt and grief. Grace has never known Mrs. March, because she’d passed away before Holly became his student. The seat next to Mr. March during Parent-Teacher Conferences was always empty.
Now it's occupied by a Mr. Healy.
His brain clicks. Oh. Grace briefly entertains the idea of congratulating the new (?) couple.

I swallow around him and this time he does move, spasming up with an honest to god whine. I choke a little, caught off guard. Courtland Gentry is not a man I've known to whine. I need to hear it again.
Swallowing again, I hollow my cheeks and suck hard. He makes a sound like he's been punched and reflexively jerks up, burying himself further down my throat. As I'm about to start bobbing my head, those strong fingers twist into my hair and pull.

Leon sighs.
