Summary
Home is where he should be: snuggled under a mountain of blankets, drunk with a steaming cup of cinnamon-infused hot chocolate (with extra marshmallows, because he isn’t a barbarian), and immersed in a very serious rerun of Howl’s Moving Castle.
But Taehyung no longer has a place to call home.
(Or: Roofs collapse, gardens wither, and Taehyung and Jimin learn to heal.)

Summary
The first bets were placed shortly after the wedding ring disappeared from Langdon’s finger one rainy day in August, never to be seen again. Trinity thinks it’s funny, though she isn’t the most invested, until it all ends up coming to a head in a way more awful than any of them could have predicted.

Summary
“What do you think about the severe rash case? Think you want in on it or can I take it?”
Frank turns to face her, which makes her look at him. His eyebrow is raised, an expression of focus on his face. “I think I want you to take a break.”
Mel laughs, glances away before making eye contact again. “That’s a funny joke.”
“No, I'm serious. Mel, go take fifteen,” he says with a firm tone.
“But I don’t need a break.”
Frank places a gentle, yet strong, hand on her shoulder. Mel glances down at it, a bit too stunned to speak; her brain trips over itself. Frank rarely touches her like this. It should be overstimulating — and if it were anyone else, it very well might’ve been — but instead the weight of his hand on her shoulder grounds her. Becomes an anchor.

“So listen,” Robby says, “I heard you’ve uh, well, that you’re living with Dr. King. Is there any truth to that statement?”
Frank groans.
“Yeah, yes, I’m living with her,” he says and Robby gets that crazy look in his eyes so Frank barrels on, “It’s not like that. Robby it’s not,” and Robby doesn’t look like he believes him one bit. “I’m living in her spare room and I pay her rent. We’re roommates. That’s not a crime.”

Summary
They were friends.
And yeah, maybe the ring on his finger sort of burned when he looked at her sometimes, even though it was just for show, now.
It was just easier to let her keep thinking he was still married to Abby. Safer.
It raised less eyebrows about the nature of their friendship when the ring stayed on while he was at work, the weight on his finger reminding him not to say or do anything stupid.
It also made it a little less creepy when the pet names started slipping out.
