In the aftermath of Gibsie's revelations, Lizzie Young has completely unraveled. Her whole world is shattered as memories that she's long suppressed start to come back to her. Overcome with devastation, she walks out, not caring what happens to her. But a childhood friend-turned nemesis, Gerard Gibson is there to help her and finally talk through the years of trauma that has piled up between them.
I started writing this as a Gibsie and Lizzie reconciliation fic based on some of the snippets that Chloe posted on Spotify. But I think it became a lot bigger than that and I ended up dedicating so much of it to the Lizzie's mental health struggles and realization of everything that's happened to her. It's a lot darker and more traumatic than I originally intended but enjoy, I guess.
