They birthed "Quirks" from the rotting remains of ancient meteorite, calling it progress. They forgot the names of the gods. They forgot the shape of the Seven Nations.

    ​But the Abyss does not forget, And its shadows do not burn.
    ​The Wanderer is a puppet of a dead era. Cast into the deepest void during the Fall, he survived 2,900 years of crushing silence, searching for a trace of who was exiled before him. When he finally crawled back to the surface, he didn't find Teyvat. He found a neon-soaked world of 'Heroes' and 'Villains' playing with the diluted sparks of a forgotten divinity.

    ​For a century, he has ruled the underground as a ghost—a vigilante who resented the very concept of Quirks. He was content to watch this "new world" crumble from boredom, until a he found another remnant of the old world. A dragon friend of his- frozen in a eternal Ice into long slumber.
