Dr. Jack Abbot has been living the same day, over and over again, and honestly? It’s sort of getting to him.
He doesn't get a choice on this shift, he's just woken up every day from his cat nap in the break room. Maybe if Raymond would have the decency to die every time, or have the same injuries every time, it would be easier. Jack could simply give it less than his best since it was utterly hopeless, or he could do the same thing every time since it would turn out the same.
