But it would help, if Luffy stopped trying so damn hard to break in.
OR: sugar baby Law crashes the fuck out, tries rebuilding his life with people who are actually nice to him, crashes out again, and slowly realizes that he might not be this city's only victim of the patented Donquixote god complex.

Hope everything's going well in Purpee. I know that it's a hard new start, but deep down, Zaeth, I know you have what it takes.
It takes Zaeth a few minutes to actually read the text, mouthing out the phonetics of the words quietly to himself. Once he makes sense of the squiggly characters that form a vaguely positive message—he slams his thumb on the call button.
The service in Purpee is shitty. Zaeth wasn't expecting the call to go through—or for Koschei to actually answer.

A soft snuffle makes her look down.
She doesn't need the moonlight to make out the face of her captain. His eyes are open, wide and shining like beetles in the dark. Watching her.
Relief crashes through her, sharp and potent. Her throat tightens, her eyes prickling. He's alive, too.
"Robin," Luffy rasps. His voice is as rough as sand against flesh. She can barely hear it over the pounding in her ears. "You okay?"
She closes her eyes, willing away the tears. "Yes," she whispers, her own throat raw. I'm okay. I didn't kill you.
Or, the missing scene pre-Water 7 where Robin and Luffy recover from Aokiji's attack.

“I was thinking of going to the dance,” Drake says pointedly, ignoring the violence. Having known Law for years by now, he's used to it.
“Who are you taking?” Law asks. He doesn’t actually give a shit, but it seems like Drake wants to tell him anyway.
Drake flushes redder and won’t look him in the eye. “I, uh, was…er, I was planning on asking you—” Law’s eyebrows shoot up, and the rare show of emotion must startle Drake because he hastily finishes, “uuurrrrrrrr sister.”
(“No!” Perona gasps, and Cavendish scream-laughs into his hands.)
Or: Drake puts his foot in his mouth. Chaos ensues.

Sora snickers, and the words catch in Drake’s throat. Then, he realizes something very terrible:
The person talking to him is not Sora: Warrior of the Sea.
This is Law, cosplaying as Sora. They’re in the middle of an event hall at Sora Forever Con.
Drake has a boner in the middle of an event hall at Sora Forever Con, and if his will to live didn’t just take a nose-dive into the gutter it’s absolutely going to crash land there the second Law notices it.
Or: Drake watches Law kick someone's ass in Sora cosplay and discovers something about himself. Rosinante is tired of these damn kids.

A Marine ship runs afoul of a crew of slavers in the North Blue, and Rocinante is taken captive. The son of an admiral is particularly valuable, after all.
The same crew has also stolen Baby 5 from the Donquixote Pirates, and Doflamingo is determined to get her back and show the whole Blue what happens to those who cross him.
Perhaps Doflamingo will find more than one person he's lost.
