That was the idea of the realm, he supposed as he grabbed his flint, to gather them all in one place. They could hurt each other, could hunt and stalk and steal, because what did it matter? They were not on private servers, not found roaming the streets of peaceful dwellings. Those places could remain the perfect worlds, and the outcasts were sent away.
The Burning Realm, as Grian had christened it, was the perfect place for them; no innocents to hurt, no sentimental damage to be brought upon the natural land, no trust to break. It was ideal for the monsters that griefed worlds, a flawless solution to the scum that bore down upon the universe. It was perfect for him.

Jack Frost is the world's biggest slut. Everyone knows it. The nymphs know it, the fey know it, the satyrs know it, the Guardians know it.
It's funny then, that Jack's actually a three hundred year-old virgin and trying to keep that a secret. (Apparently virgins are a hot commodity in the world of magic and myths.) Not hard, when you smell like sex all the time. (Thank you magic potion.)
Too bad no one told Jack that unicorns are hard to hide things from.
(Or: Jack's a scared virgin in a world of people who want to molest him, Bunny sticks his foot in his mouth, and unicorns come to the rescue. I'm serious.)

“Camelot is coming.” Cenred raises an eyebrow, waiting for Merlin’s response, but when nothing comes he continues, “Two weeks from now. They’ll be here for a month for treaty negotiations, and I want you serving.”
Well. That one’s new. “What if they recognise me?”
Cenred chuckles. “I don’t intend on you getting too close, Merlin. You’re to attend me during public events, that’s all. And they won’t recognise you. They think you’re dead, after all. But if you do anything, and I mean anything, to help them remember... well. Ealdor’s a dangerous place.” Merlin swallows, and he knows Cenred knows he understands.When an Essetirian patrol discovers Merlin’s magic on a visit home, he’s taken for the army – until Cenred discovers who he is and decides that he’d be more use to reveal Camelot’s secrets. A year later, presumed dead by everyone he loves, a delegation from Camelot visits Essetir for treaty negotiations.
