Part of the deal Kelvin had made with God while in that silo was that if he lived through everything, he was going to do right by Keefe. He was going to make Keefe his once and for all, his equal and nothing less. But so far, upon returning, it seemed like things were back to the way they used to be with Keefe doting on Kelvin. He ran all of his showers for him, set up calming baths, dressed and undressed him, massaged him, and massaged him again. Keefe was back in his old room, and BJ and Gideon even helped him move back before Kelvin could suggest that Keefe just move into Kelvin’s room. This wasn’t the way their reconciliation was supposed to go. Kelvin was supposed to dote on Keefe. He was supposed to erase the ambiguity, not become complacent in it.
