Summary
Jason Todd knows better than to trust people.
Unfortunately, he likes Maeve almost immediately.
She’s forever working, always tired, and has an uncanny talent for pretending everything is fine when it never is. Between double shifts, mounting debt, and a father one bad day away from disaster, she has enough problems without getting tangled up with Jason.
For a while, it’s easy.
The diner. Coffee. Friendship. A place to go when Gotham feels particularly determined to chew them both up and spit them back out.
Then Jason starts investigating a case that keeps circling back to the same conclusion. Someone is lying. And the more he learns, the less certain he is that he knows Maeve at all.
The trouble is, Jason has secrets of his own.
Neither of them mean to fall in love.
Unfortunately, falling is the easy part.

Summary
Jason Todd grew up with a fundamental fear of being seen. Not in the sense of shyness, but in the sense of shame. He supposed, if he wished to contemplate the fear’s origins, he might start where most tragedies do:
The house he grew up in.
Where the act of wanting was as good as a death sentence to that desire.
He supposed he might even make an argument for the statement “people become what they are called”. He thinks that might have some merit, looking back.
What he fears most, (like most other people), is how obvious it is to others. The fear itself.
He wonders if they can see it.or
Thanks to a rogue meta, the batfam gets to watch Jason's memories like a movie; and Jason just really wants a family again. But you cannot be loved if you aren't known, and well... if circumstances provide? might as well take the chance, right?

Summary
“Are you awake?”
Jason practically jumps out of his skin when he hears the horribly familiar voice of Superman. He tries to sit up but that messes with his ribs and he grunts as they send a shock of pain through his side.
“I thought I hallucinated you.” Jason says because that is the first thing that comes to mind.
Superman- Clark Kent- gives him a soft smile, “Good thing I wasn’t, you probably wouldn’t have made it very far.”
Or, Clark Kent finds Jason after the events of Under the Red Hood and takes him home to Kansas where he is immediately adopted.

Summary
Jason Todd is dead and Bruce is still grieving when an alternate Bruce Wayne from a different dimension opens a gateway into his house. The alternate’s intentions seem benign, but while Bruce is in his manor he comes across that universe’s Jason, frightened and bruised.
Bruce takes him home but he has no idea what his alternate has truly put Jason through and for his alternate son he’s only traded one captor for another. Jason only sees one way out of the hell he’s in. Someone his old universe doesn’t have. Someone who’ll save anyone, no matter how broken they are.
Somehow he needs to find Batman.
