    The way Zelda and Link relate to each other is so pure. They both suffered, they experienced consequences that traumatized them, but neither tries to project their suffering onto the other; on the contrary, both are willing to help each other not forget their pain and wounds, but to accept them as part of themselves. Scars may disappear, but the way they were acquired will live forever in the memory of their bearer.

    A great story that demonstrates the intimacy they both have for each other. For the freedom each possesses now, after so many struggles to achieve it. BOTW/TOTK ZeLink is one of those ships with so much depth that we could spend all night talking about the development they build throughout their journey. ♡

    Such a small story, yet full of emotion. A peculiarity between ZeLink BOTW is how both went through a great hell in their lives — they lost important people, their families, their Kingdom, they lost their memories and remained trapped trying to control the evil that took everything from them — but even so, Zelda and Link remained steadfast in their goals.

    But consequences are consequences. They don't go away so easily. Seeing how Zelda comforts Link is so special, welcoming him into an era where they don't need to worry about titles, royal gossip, royal scandals; they can simply... Zelda and Link. Oh my— it has so many layers that I could spend hours talking about it.

    Change is always welcome. It can be for the better, helping us develop as individuals and for those around us, or it can be for the worse, causing tremendous distress because things are no longer the same. As Link himself said, Zelda is quite wise in suggesting they move house; she could very well have chosen not to, after all, she was quite comfortable in that place — but still, Zelda didn't think of herself: she thought of her husband, Link. Ultimately, Zelda wasn't the only one traumatized by yet another event involving Ganon. Link was there; Link couldn't hold her back in time; Link spent so much time getting her back in his arms. Both lost important things on this journey, but something remained: the fear. The anguish of losing her again, of being as imposing as before. Zelda saw all of this when Link let himself be at her mercy, pouring out his lament; and then, she didn't hesitate to find a way to make him more comfortable. In fact, they both matured a lot, and I love that. ♡

    Link, a private spy, has held the top position of his organization for the vast majority of his career. The only one close to beating him for the title is his arch rival, Sheik, who seems to have no problem rubbing it in his face.

    In his personal life, Link is set up on a blind date with Zelda by his childhood friend. They hit it off immediately, and Link is instantly smitten by this enigmatic girl who seems to always have an excuse for avoiding personal details.

    Neither of them know that the other is both their potential love interest and their biggest rival. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a problem.

    During my vague search for OoT stories, I always found the same ones related to ANGST, timelines, and even the spicier ones related to Link and Zelda. Therefore, I'm extremely happy to find one that, besides being a Modern AU, will portray the beginning of their relationship in a different way — a way that leaves you on the edge of your seat, your mind racing, thinking: what will happen in the next chapter?

    I'm extremely excited to follow this new story, which so far only has two chapters (enough to trigger my anxiety, because I need more!). I can't wait to read the next chapter. ❤

    As I've already mentioned, what I find so charming about the TP Zelink relationship is the endless possibilities that can be explored in how the two characters connect; in how each one deals with their pain, and how, in the end, that pain is shared between them.

    Rereading this story brings back fond memories of seeing them for the first time and thinking, "These two really have a lot to tell." Of course, I can't help but highlight Zelda's words: "You don't need to be a hero anymore," it's so touching it brought tears to my eyes.

    TP Zelink will always be one of my favorite Zelink couples.
