    Já fazia seis meses que Sasuke tinha saído para sua viagem de “expiação de pecados”. Naruto entendia. Sério, ele entendia. E apoiava. Mas seria mentira se dissesse que não estava decepcionado — tinha uma grande diferença entre o que ele imaginou que aconteceria e o que aconteceu de fato depois da 4ª Guerra Ninja. Nenhum dos cinquenta cenários que ele tinha elaborado em seu cérebro era compatível com o que aconteceu na realidade.
    Naruto esperava que Sasuke voltasse de vez para Konoha depois da última batalha deles. Depois de Naruto vencer Sasuke. Mas a ausência do melhor amigo ali tornava impossível dizer que tinha sido uma vitória de fato. Parecia mais uma derrota. Na cabeça dele, o amigo iria voltar, por mais que, talvez, houvessem algumas dificuldades de adaptação — afinal, era Sasuke e, além disso, a vila merecia sua raiva. Talvez ele brigasse com o Conselho, ou acontecesse de fato um julgamento sobre seus crimes apesar de Tsunade ter o perdoado. Mas não foi o que aconteceu depois da luta.
