“This was a mistake,” Lexa said with a harshness to her voice that took Clarke off guard. “You should not have come. There´s no point,” Lexa stopped and shook her head again. Then, something changed in those green eyes. Clarke saw it happening. She was losing her. “Go home, Clarke.”
“No wait,” Clarke replied and grabbed onto Lexa´s arm. “I don´t understand. We have to talk about this,” she said but Lexa shook her head once more and Clarke thought for a second that she saw tears in those green eyes of hers. “I´m sorry, okay, but we need to talk.” Lexa didn´t reply, tears were dangerously close to running down her cheeks and Clarke knew. This was it. If they didn´t solve this now, she would lose the green-eyed girl. "I don´t want to lose you,” she said in a whisper as she approached Lexa trying to close the space between them. Maybe if she got close enough Lexa would actually hear her and know for sure.
“Too late.” Clarke drew for breath, but nothing happened. This could not be happening. “You have already lost me.”*****
A story about admitting your own feelings and taking responsibility for past behaviour.
And maybe, just maybe, getting the love of your life back.
