Summary
Fear was present in every planet, dimension, and time as life could not exist without it. Though what was counted as fourteen and worshiped as gods still existed outside of this earth they concentrated there, in a way. But now as Jon and Martin are shoved into another, close, reality the godliness manifested at the end of times has to go somewhere because fear will always exist.
Jonathan Sims deals with being and immortal God of fear by becoming a space pirate with his boyfriend.
Somewhere else is the starship Arora.
I love both Jon and Jonny, but Jonny needs to be humbled and I'm a sucker for monster Jon.

Summary
He’s not much of a talker, Grace has quickly discerned, the words he does share are spoken gruffly but quietly, even the gratuitous swearing. More habit than actually irate. Still, Grace is just wondering how to fill the silence without just rambling when Simon cautiously ventures, “Say I’m not dead. Say it is real… why rescue me? Why fix me up?”
He tilts his head, nonplussed, “Because you were stranded and you were hurt.”
“That’s not what I’m asking,” spoken through gritted teeth. “At least, at least be honest with me. For what reason? What do you want in return?”
In his lap, Grace’s fingers flex.
“I don’t want anything in return,” he says steadily.
(A bloodymary fix-it fic with extra emphasis on touch starvation, and boy is Grace ravenous.)

I very carefully set the gun near the xenonite barrier. “Need a word. Fast moving projectile launcher. This is an object that can make small objects go very fast.”
Rocky gets close to the barrier and seems to be inspecting it with his sonar. “Unfamiliar with concept. How fast can objects move with launcher, question?”
“An object is made for the launcher. Cannot be any object. We call objects ‘bullets.’ We call launcher ‘gun.’ It uses gunpowder to make a small explosion, which is powder made from sulfur, potassium nitrate, and charcoal- Carbon. In high oxygen environments this creates a small explosion that propels the bullet forward at 100 meters a second.”
Rocky scurries back. I would too, but I have the business end facing away from me and the xenonite barrier. “Are objects in this launcher, question?”
“Yes, I do not know how to take them out.” I point to the end of the gun that houses the bullets. “In Earth’s atmosphere, they would be safe to remove. But in a high oxygen environment like the Hail Mary, I’m afraid of causing a spark that would make the bullets fire anyway.”
