Summary
After his Agni Kai, Zuko flees the Fire Nation without Iroh or his crew. He finds himself stranded, alone, and injured in the Earth Kingdom when taken in and raised as a healer and farmer by an Earth Kingdom couple. He finds new ways to use his bending and to influence in the changing of the war with new understanding of himself, his bending, and the war. As someone with new perspectives and influence he is able to provide a greater understanding of being a teacher, warrior, and friend when meeting the gaang.

The second was that he did not protest when offered tea.
The third was the sudden appearance of a Kyoshi Warrior who had somehow secured a place aboard his nephew’s ship.
Or: Fire Lord Zuko and Bodyguard Suki wake up in the bodies of their younger selves, just before their first meeting. Iroh notices things.

Summary
Zuko doesn’t escape the palace after the eclipse, and Ozai makes the mistake of sending him to the Boiling Rock. As it turns out, Suki and Hakoda are there as well.
Featuring: Zuko and Suki bonding time, Hakoda entering dad mode, a simple escape turning into a full-blown coup in the Fire Nation, and Zuko actually gaining support from within his own nation before taking the throne.
