    Summary

Finnick has always known he will be chosen to represent his district in the Hunger Games one day. He is unquestionably a prodigy, invited to train with the big kids at only thirteen years old.

He’s always been planning to volunteer one day, but when tragedy strikes his family, Finnick ends up volunteering years earlier than he was ever supposed to. Does a boy only fourteen years old really stand a chance of winning? Even one as exceptional as Finnick? It’s never happened before, not once in the history of the Games.

Finnick soon finds out that he not only stands a chance but is the overwhelming favorite to win. This is for reasons that have very little to do with his extensive training.

Follow along on Finnick's journey as he goes from overconfident but lovable kid to unwitting child star to Panem's most prominent sex symbol to the rebellion's most valuable spy — and he also falls in love somewhere along the way.

    Summary

The group made their way over to the two Hylians, where the individual they had rushed to save was conversing with the newcomer. The newcomer was heavily scarred on his left side, and from the bow on his back, he was the archer who had brought down many of the monsters.

“Hello,” Time said, as he nodded to them. “Could you point us toward Castle Town?”

    The scarred man blinked. “Nanda?

The Heroes of Courage are spread across ages. Hundreds to thousands of years between them. It should come as no surprise that they are having some trouble communicating. But when they’re dropped in a world of alien technology and a language wholly unfamiliar, they really wish Hylia had thought ahead.

Or, the gang-meets-wild fic in which there is an appropriate amount of linguistic drift between Links, Hylia does not provide Google Translate, and Wild is a linguaphile among other things.

    Summary

Some say that at the end of the summer, kingfishers carry the spirits of the dead away.
In District Four, the birds are never innocent in that. Folktales paint them as something cruel, too fancy to be trusted, tied to myths of abandoned pregnant women. And though some would say carrying the dead is just another dreadful myth, I find this one peaceful.

    Finnick Odair, from the beginning.

    Summary

She watched for a moment astonished at how such a short distance had made such a drastic change in the coast. Ginormous black rocks littered the shore leaving only small gaps of beach the biggest being no more than a foot wide. She watched from far off as the waves crashed against the rock the boy was sitting on, he didn’t ever move from his hunched over position. Wind whipped his hair back and yet his face remained firmly planted in his hands.

TLDR; Finnick and Annie meet as kids. Everything is different but the bones are all the same.

    Summary

Annie Cresta once starred in Panemonium's hit TV series, Finntastic, alongside the show’s breakout star, Finnick Odair. But then, Annie attempted to stab an unarmed television executive to death with a kitchen knife. There’s even a video to prove it.

Now, ten years later, most people know Annie only as that crazy girl. She’s often the punchline of tasteless jokes and late-night comedy sketches.

Johanna Mason thinks there’s more to the story than that. She’s an investigative journalist with exactly one goal in life — to destroy Coriolanus Snow, the amoral but annoyingly meticulous CEO of Capitol Media. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire... and Annie attacked Seneca Crane at a pool party hosted by Snow himself.
