It's a warm, sunny day and Calla has chosen to spend it observing Lapis from a distance. She's playing and chatting with Myosotis while weaving a flower crown.
It is achingly familiar.

Calla keeps getting swept away by her memories. Lapis unintentionally reminds her that the present isn't so bad either. Mapharam and Myosotis are just along for the ride.

Zhongli shuffles the paperwork in his hands with a frown, "No. Do not try for my sake, Xiao. Try for your sake, try for Venti's sake, and try for the sake of the mission's success. Try to get to know him, and once you do, I believe that you shall find a kindred spirit."
Leaning back into his chair apprehensively, Xiao poses two questions for Zhongli.
“If you are wrong?”
“At least you would be able to say that you tried.”
“And if you are right?”
“Then you will have gained a lifelong friend.”

Xiao is the Lead Flight Director for the Carmen I mission. Venti is the astronaut flying the mission. Fly Me To The Moon is set in the 1970's and follows the story of Xiao and Venti's devloping relationship from rocky first meetings to domestic chaos as they prepare for the take off of Carmen I.

Summary
Tommy has been Fallacy the vigilante for three years.
The name wasn't his choice, but that doesn't change the fact that Tommy is a liar. He can't help it, he can't stop it, but it's always there to haunt him. Because of it, not a single friend has continuously stood by his side. Not until Verity.
Verity is a special case- funny, smart, patient, and a villain. It's hard to justify as a vigilante, but Tommy makes it work. It's worth it to keep his friend.
When a job opens up as an assistant for the heroes, Tommy is sceptical. But a little encouragement goes a long way, so at his friend's insistence, he applies for the impossible to claim job. Little did he or Verity know that the application would be the beginning of their end.
Stress and tension and lies start to build until frustration and grief finally break free. Words are spoken that cannot be unsaid, cracks are created that cannot be healed, and betrayals occur that leave Tommy and the heroes heartbroken and terrified.
(Discontinued due to hyperfixation change, but has 50k words written, and I am posting very substantial chapter plans)

"I am putting on some funky music, and we are going to dance. I reckon we've both had a pretty fucking shit day and deserve some fun. C’mon bitch boy, dance with me!” Modern pop reverberates surprisingly loudly from the phone as Fallacy climbs off the wall and places it down on a box in the middle of the roof.
Remaining stationary on the wall, Ranboo crosses his arms and stubbornly refuses, “No, I can’t-”
“You know you want to!” Fallacy proclaims, the grin evident in his voice. When Ranboo makes the mistake of turning around to glance at his friend, he finds him doing the most cheesy dad dancing he’s ever seen. By the time Fallacy brings out the finger guns, he finds his resolve crumbling right in front of his eyes.
OR
Tommy and Ranboo are vigilantes and best friends. Their night doesn't start out great, but they choose to make it fun.

“We don’t have time. Besides, my end is inevitable," Xiao says.
“Ah-ha! Not true. Time is the only thing we have.” Venti refuses to let Xiao meet his end so easily. He doesn’t know Xiao, not really. But it’s just so frustrating to see him with freedom right between his fingers and still refuse to hold on. He could if only he tried.
Venti will drag Xiao into tomorrow, even if he has to do it kicking and screaming.

“And everyone is so old,” Tubbo complains. Somehow, without them knowing about it, Tubbo’s managed to swipe a waffle and is chewing on it happily. Sapnap stifles a laugh. “Well, not everyone, I guess- the kid in our room is our age, I think. He might be younger.”
Wilbur perks up. “Does he ice skate?”
“Yeah, he does. He’s got these sick skates and everything.” Tubbo explains. “He’s quiet though. We tried talking to him, but…”
“But?”
Tubbo shrugs. "He's quiet. He doesn't talk much. I guess he's busy."
or, Tommy's made it to the Olympics for figure skating- he's the youngest contestant on the ice and he's the favor for the gold. He's supposed to be living the dream. So why is he still so unhappy? And why do all these hockey players and snowboarders care so much about him?
