San’s hips rocked against the pillow, slow and instinctual. Not for release. For relief. Just something to keep the edge from getting sharper. Just something to keep from tearing himself open from the inside.
He let himself imagine it then. Just for a second. A warm hand, not his. A voice—low, familiar—telling him it was okay. That he could let go.
He gasped at the thought, fingers curling in the sheets, shame flooding his chest so fast it made his throat tighten.
He can’t ever know.
But oh, god, he wanted him to.
The door clicked open downstairs.
San didn’t hear it—not at first. Not through the haze. Not over the soft sounds he was making into Mingi’s pillow, muffled and quiet and ruined.
But the second scent that hit the air?

Yunho rears up and slaps him across the face.
The impact makes fireworks explode in his jaw and cheekbone. His vision pulses white, and the taste of blood floods his mouth from his newly split lip. The tears don’t stop flowing, but he stops breathing entirely, body knocked into pure shock from the unexpected agony.
“You can, and you will.” He grabs Yeosang’s face with the same hand he slapped him with, fingers biting deep into the soft flesh of his cheeks, forcing his bleeding lips into a pout. “You begged me, Yeosang. You said you needed me. So I’m going to give you what you need, and you’re going to take it.”
