But still, he didn’t protest, he didn’t fight for hybrids' rights, he didn’t do much than share a link about it on his social media or sigh in shame whenever he saw stories of hybrids being harmed on the news. He wasn’t passionate about it, simply just trying to live his life in this world before it become their world. Was that him being part of the problem? But, he thinks, it doesn’t matter anyway. They didn’t take humans that were the problem as hostage --they had taken everyone. And sure, he would have most likely been killed outside of here, but that was his life and his freedom he was entitled to, and they had taken that from him.
Just like the humans had taken their freedoms.

Minho frowned at him, staring at the other critically. “You got more secrets to sell?”
Jisung straightened his posture, meeting his gaze. “There’s a difference between a secret and privacy, hyung. You can’t know everything about someone else.”
Minho raised his brow, “Oh, but I do. I know everything about Chan.”
“Yeah, right.”
“Eight years is plenty of time, Jisung-ah. Many hours to talk about every little thing.”
Jisung looked away, jaw set tight. “What do you think the others would’ve thought of me if we had told them the truth?”
“Excuse me?” Minho reeled at the unexpected question.
“I understand the need for honesty, to build trust and all that, hyung. I do. But some truths hurt,” he spoke softly, eyebrows furrowed. “Some truths break trust instead of building it.”
The signs had always been there, right beneath their noses. However, whenever it related to Jisung, the pack seemed oblivious.
At least, Minho was foolish enough to not realize sooner.
