“Burning Spice Cookie, you’ve been laying in bed for quite some time,” Golden Cheese Cookie’s voice spoke. “I suggest you put a start to your day soon.”
The Beast Cookie, hair messy from sleep, sighed, voice heavy and demotivated. He lied on his back, and stared blankly up at the ceiling. She did not receive a response.
(Burning Spice Cookie has a depressive episode. Golden Cheese tries to help him out of it, even if just for a moment.)

“Burning Spice Cookie?”
The Golden Sovereign’s voice. It was short, tense, and Burning Spice immediately recognized it, and with that came the realization he could not continue.
He was so close. Of course, she had to interrupt now.
A rough sigh escaped him as he took the axe away from his neck. With a thud, the eye of it was placed on the ground next to him. The contact the blade made with the tiles below was abrasive, and it slowly reverberated through the room, filling the silence. That was, until Golden Cheese spoke again.
“What are you doing?”

Black Sapphire doesn’t react, but internally he feels his stomach drop.
“I was able to spot you because of it. Shortly after, your disguise gave out.”
“Panicked? Oh, but that was simply another act!” He chuckles, and takes a deep breath, his pupils growing dangerously sharp. His voice lowers in tone and volume. A threat. “You’re reading too far into things.”
