Summary
"There, now I remember why I had a huge crush on you during the Academy."
Alhaitham looks at him, his glass halfway down.
Silence.
"No, that's not true."Or
When Kaveh lets slip that he had a huge crush on his current roommate during his time at the Academy, Alhaitham does the only thing that comes naturally to him: he debunks the theory due to a lack of empirical data. Too bad, for once, the smartest man in Sumeru has programmed his memories terribly. (And Tighnari and Cyno, frankly, are really fed up with being spectators anymore.)

Summary
“The list must need some updating,” Doppo admits. “Some of these items have been on here since highschool. But,” he’s quick to add, “that doesn’t mean it’s all wrong.”
“Sure,” Dazai says lightly. And after a moment, says, “Rule number 35: must enjoy black tea.” It’s correct, of course. Dazai has his list of requirements and ideals for a romantic partner memorized better than he even does, for some incomprehensible reason.
or: Doppo learns that sometimes his rules don’t really matter that much, and that maybe, just maybe, true love has been right in front of him this whole time.

Summary
If there is something Chuuya hates about Dazai, it’s how observant he is.
No, that isn’t quite right. It is Dazai’s keen eye—and his rather irritating soul mission of bullying and inconveniencing Chuuya—what makes him oddly giddy. Chuuya doesn’t have to scramble for the right words to convey the tangled knots of the things he wants to say, for Dazai tips Chuuya’s chin to better meet his eyes and the dimple on the corner of Dazai’s cheek means he knows.
It’s an entirely different story when he also realizes something’s wrong.

Summary
Neither of them are sure who leans in first, but their foreheads press together as they share warm breaths between each other.
Then Dazai utters something Chuuya never thought he'd hear.
“I love you.”
Immediately, Chuuya shoves Dazai back, pushing him away in every sense of the word.
“No you don’t. You don’t get to say that.” Chuuya’s voice drips in hurt. In betrayal. In accusation.
Dazai doesn’t argue back.
“I don’t think you understand what you’ve done to me. You don’t get to disappear from my life without a fucking word then show up again after I finally accepted it only to pull some bullshit like this.”or
How Chuuya and Dazai exchanging numbers at 15 follows them through separation and brings them back to each other
