you hate spencer reid. you hate this case. you hate statistics and the way he always manages to turn a simple disagreement into an entire four-semester-long lecture series. you especially hate that a tiny, deeply unprofessional part of your brain keeps noticing things about reid that have absolutely nothing to do with the investigation. all useless information like the way his sleeves sit at his wrists when he writes and how his hair falls forward when he's analyzing a map. it’s cognitive clutter, but it’s somehow louder than anything else when he’s in the room with you.
