    Summary

The ship came to their shores in the third year after the war ended.

One ship, just one, and Penelope stood on the clifftop near her husband’s palace and looked down upon the harbor below, and clenched her fist in her himation until it was wrapped around her so tight that it was imprinting its weave pattern onto her skin. Just one ship, and the men she could see disembarking were too few to be fifty, and none turned to hare instantly up the hill towards her.

Penelope turned away to head into the palace, to wait for the bad news to find her.

    Summary

She turns around, every instinct from her spartan upbringing stopping her from flinching when she sees Zeus standing in front of her bedroom door. But her brain catches on to his words.

She levels her coldest glare at him, absolutely uncaring that he was a god-king of gods. It didn’t matter, not if Odysseus was dead.

“What. do. You. mean. He’s not coming back.” Every word is enunciated so well that not even a baby could misunderstand. Every word dares him to strike her down.

Penelope drags Odysseus kicking and screaming back to the overworld.

    Summary

When Nezha was told about his betrothal to the Third Prince, he hoped he'd find a friend in his future husband. But when he arrives to start their lives together, he finds Ao Bing to be cold and distant, not at all the companion of his heart he'd hoped for.

As he adjusts to life as the consort of the Third Prince of the Eastern Sea, he discovers there was more to their betrothal—and to his husband—than he'd ever realized.

A very sexy interlude, to be told in three parts.

Begins the same day as the end of Heartpiercer. The boys deserve a little private time to explore their newfound intimacy.

    Summary

When the Gods fell millennia ago, Phainon had fallen with them.

Now he is the last. A remnant of times long ago, a fragment of divinity cast to the mortal world and tied to the great God-Kings of Sak-Kahn-Ko. He is theirs to do as they please; to serve each father and son and son of his son, unageing, undying, unchanging. He does not see the sun rise each day. He does not see it set.

Come a springtime he can only hear in the sigh of the wind, the God-King he serves has guests to visit. Many guests, from all corners of the mapped world, there to pledge allegiance to Sak-Kahn-Ko, to bow to the one great enough to own a God.

But one guest is strange. He does not look to Phainon’s humiliation with glee or envy or pride. He does not look at all.

Mydeimos of Castrum Kremnos looks, instead, to the God-King he must bow to; and he looks with anger, at the one who owns the divine. He looks with rage.
