Maomao stood and turned to look at him, a calculating look in her eyes. He must have just finished his poli sci class, judging by the textbook tucked neatly under one arm. More significantly, what were obviously very well-defined shoulders stretched beneath the purple knit of his sweater.
Ugh. That colour really was disgustingly good on him. It should probably be illegal for him to wear it. She could see glances coming their way from practically every table in the cafeteria.
Maomao shook the thought out of her head, because it wasn't important right now. What was important was that…
"They're perfect," Maomao muttered to herself, and then, not seeing the flush come out high on Jinshi's cheeks when she reached out to grab him by one shoulder: "Good muscle definition. Excellent biceps. I'll bet your sternoclavicular joint is superb."
Or, Jinshi helps Maomao study for an anatomy exam.

Summary
Marinette never really wanted to be a superhero, for the record, but the choice wasn’t hers. And when she sees a car headed for Alya the day Stoneheart appears, that’s not a choice either—that’s a death sentence for a girl with no powers, just a phone and too much curiosity for her own good.
Marinette becomes Ladybug, and she moves.
In hindsight, Marinette supposes the car crushes her skull, her lungs—something like that. She thinks she remembers hitting the ground, but that could be wishful thinking, the desire for a sense of certainty that will always be out of reach. It doesn’t really matter, as much as she’d like to think so.
The bottom line is that on her first day on the job, Ladybug dies. And then she gets back up.

Summary
Ok, so Castiel's in love with his best friend.
Which is what puts them here, in Dean’s car, eight hours into a nine and a half hour drive up north to bury Castiel’s mother on the grounds that he grew up on. Because it’s been eight years since Castiel cut ties with his family and left, supposedly for college, and there hasn’t been a word of communication since. Because Dean is, at his core, a good person and a better friend, and when he heard that Castiel’s mother had died and that he would need to return to his childhood home over Thanksgiving break, he knew enough to say he’d go with him.
This is, for sure, not helping Castiel get over his inappropriately persistent feelings.
