    As the conversation continues around them, she breathes him in: sandalwood, sweat, home.

    "—and if we adjust the frame to account for seasonal changes—"

    Katara sighs. Loudly. Aang's hand comes up to cover hers, a brief squeeze that might be acknowledgment or a warning. She does not know which.

    "—we could potentially see a fifteen percent increase in—"

    She lets her hands wander. Nothing obvious, nothing anyone would notice. Her fingers find the beads of his necklace, rolling them between her fingertips. Then lower, to his back where the tattoo disappears under his waistband.

    A small breeze escapes him—unconscious, uncontrolled—ruffling her hair and rattling the lantern above them. The flame shifts, and she watches his composure slowly fracture. Before his mind can presumably catch up, his body responds, hips tilting almost unnoticeably toward her touch, seeking more.

    And she knows she has him where she wants him.

    Or: When wine makes Katara impatient and possessive, she lures Aang away from his responsibilities, leading to an intimate encounter.

    Aang is upset with the council for not listening to him, making him angry and embarrassed. Katara just wants him to feel better, and offers to try something new to help them blow off steam.
