Summary
Chuuya's popular at school, widely liked, and Dazai's everything but. People avoid him, fear him, and so do Chuuya's friends – The Sheep, a group of kids he accidentally became the leader of. After one nasty encounter, Chuuya goes to confront Dazai, and only after already beating him up he reluctantly realizes he's not as bad as the rumors paint him.
It's been a year since, and they're not friends, going off Chuuya's claims, but they share a line of connection. The Sheep is not happy about that. Arguments erupt, trust breaks, Chuuya considers murder numerous times, and kids jump off fences – not exactly in that order.
Then, one day Dazai stops coming to school. Later, Chuuya finds out he committed suicide. Weeks pass and just as he starts accepting the new reality he goes back in time a week before Dazai's death. He's left mourning Dazai while seeing and talking to him at school every day, trying to compromise their relationship with The Sheep, and dealing with his own unresolved feelings all at once.

Kunikida's eyes snapped to Dazai, demanding an explanation. “How the hell did you do this?”
Dazai put his hands in the air, his attempt of surrendering invaded by the smug grin on his face. “I didn't do anything. Chuuya agreed with his very own free will.”
“You totally manipulated me into this,” Chuuya deadpanned.
“That was seduction, not manipulation! There's a very big difference, you know.”
“You tried to seduce the Mafia Boss?!” Kunikida yelled out, his face turning visibly pale. Dazai turned to him with an innocent expression, pretending not to see anything wrong with it.
He crossed his arms and feigned offence. “I didn't try, I successfully did. You're underestimating my skills, Kunikida.”

“We could have sex!” Dazai excitedly exclaimed – and got punched in the stomach immediately after.
“How the hell is that ‘appropriate’?!” Chuuya shot Dazai a murderous glare, scolding himself in his head for even considering that the idiot could have anything interesting to say for once.
“Well, I could have asked if you wanted to fuck. That would be inappropriate,” Dazai tried to justify, holding his stomach with his arms as the jab was still spreading through his body.“That's not any fucking better…” Chuuya raised his eyebrows, unimpressed.
Silence fell in the room for a while, Dazai's eyes wandering around while his legs swung from the couch, but unable to stay patient he had to speak up. “So?” Dazai turned to Chuuya, looking at him expectantly. “Wanna–”
“Absolutely not.” (They fucked anyway)

Summary
Every third day of the week, Chuuya works nights at the agency.
Every third day of the week, the infamous Phantom Thief dangles excitement he hasn’t felt in years in front of his face.

Dazai's only able to make out the obnoxiously bright ginger hair on the other side of the water that separates them, but it's annoying enough as it is. Turning his head, Dazai decides to ignore him until he leaves.
