Summary
Prior to a Vanguard meeting, Caiatl agrees to let Ghost listen in on a Vanguard meeting. The meeting...does not go well. Ghost is not happy.
Over these years in exile, Ghost knows he’s become more fiery, jaded, even bold. Maybe his Guardian can’t manage up anger or even a bit of blame, but he can. He can carry enough anger for both of them, and he is more than willing.

Summary
The Young Wolf decides to show Crow one of their favorite “hidey-holes”, as he calls them (and smiles as they object to it).
— A STORMJOY is a living cloud. When it passes over our continent, it lowers its feeding tentacles. On each tentacle are the BAIT STARS. Although light makes you happy, you must avoid it. You will be eaten. —

Summary
Some weeks after finally convincing the Vanguard to let the Young Wolf back into the City, due largely to Empress Caiatl’s final input with the Commander, Crow decides to see if he can drag them into doing something other than sulk in lesser-known parts of the Tower and abandoned Hunter dens.
Hope they like plushies.

Summary
A chatterbox conspiracy theorist, a laid-back realist, and a potentially stir-crazy big game hunter take a walk on a haunted moon and, expectedly, get haunted—Just not in the way they thought.
Just when he thought it couldn't get worse than the smell of Soulfire, there's a new oppressive feeling in the air.
[sort of continuation (not really? just that trio returning) of chapter two of Bury Me Shallow, "A Look Into Some Hunter Gossip". could probably be read alone]

They were supposed to be– No. Something’s wrong.
They’re supposed to be the last hope. The Light’s last argument against the Darkness.
This isn’t supposed to be happening.

> In other words, Shin Malphur is in denial over his "end to last rites and final words" and drags Drifter down with him. Drifter really really doesn't want to be here nor interact with the Young Wolf, rather fresh into their exile. Shin says Win-Win, Drifter says Lose-Lose, and the Guardian is miserable in the background.Series

Summary
The Young Wolf and the Hunter Vanguard had been very good friends, before the Prison. Cayde-6 had been left in a coma after the fight and losing his Ghost, and the last the Guardian had seen of him was the Queen’s Wrath hauling his unconscious form away from them, cursing them for trying to kill him.
They had seen him die, saw his eyes lose their glow. They had gathered up Sundance’s shell after Petra was gone and had swept up the leftover Scorn, and her shell pieces were about the only well taken-care-of thing on their ship…
It wasn't until Crow mentioned Cayde complaining about being stuck in the Tower “for his own safety” that the Guardian realized he had survived. Crow, however, neglected to ever mention the ‘reunion’ he had since been planning for them.

They’ve been like this for a while now. The Guardian gets hurt, Ghost scolds them, and they feel guilty for burdening him; for dragging him down with them, and being why he can never go home. They won’t listen when he says they’re his home.

Summary
Warning A Replacement - In which an Exiled Hero is tracked down by their shiny new replacement.
Or, Crow tracks down The Young Wolf under Mara's request with the intent to focus their presumably anger-driven hunts towards more pressing threats to the City, post-reclaiming his memory from Savathun during Lost. This is the first time Crow gets close enough to the Guardian to hold a conversation, most other encounters being seeing one another from distances during Hunt, and marks the start of a series of Crow hunting down the Young Wolf with more and more accuracy to brute force his way inside their artificial walls.
Chapter two will be just little bits and pieces of some of the meetings after, mostly.

Summary
The Drifter recalls a conversation he had with the Old Phoenix, and the... situation a certain former Hero has ended up in. He figures he might be able to squeeze some benefits out of it.
Alternatively: Two rogue Guardians play horse plinko with each other before agreeing to an exchange of favors. This takes place some time around when Season of The Drifter would've started in Canon.
[Rewritten under "Rewrite: A Questionably Fortunate Encounter" to be better in line with TFE and Canon lore/characterizations]
