Best time travel fix-it I've read so far for the Merlin fandom!
Merlin is ACTUALLY competent here and uses his knoledge without losing his personality and quirks.
Always love a bottom Arthur fic; he takes care of whole Kingdomes now. Someone has to take care of him too.
Bit sad we didn't get a scene with Balinor nor one where Aithusa was colected and born but at least they were mentioned and not conveniently forgoten.
The twist with Mordred though, really caught me by surprise.
Overall I really enjoyed yhe fic! Bit rushed at the end but very enjoyable. 9.8/10 -

“Not guilty,” Merlin spits out. “That wasn’t even magic.”
“The smoke looked like a cat!” Uther protests.
“Like a cat sitting down, which is a relatively nondescript shape!”
“So you admit it looked like a cat!”
“Only vaguely. God, not everything is sorcery, you stupid arrogant old coot!”
The court gasps. Gaius looks like he wants to melt into the floor. Gwaine looks five seconds away from bursting into laughter, which will likely get him banished again. Lance also looks like he wants to laugh, but only because Merlin knows what to look for.
“That’s treason, boy,” Uther spits back.
“And so is magic. God, make up your mind on what reason you’ve decided on for executing.”
“I SAW YOU!” Uther roars. “You were smiling at the smoke! You were making a mockery of Sir Ulfius’ funeral!”

After Merlin gets accused of having magic for stupid reasons, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Arthur is going to have the worst week of his life, but Uther will be having a worse one. Very cute
The reveal was les dramatic than i thought but no les awesomely handled. Good job Arthur. His wilingness to learn was a good sign, the inclusion of Morgana was surprising but not unwelcome. His stunt at the jeweler's was as sweet as it was inpulsive. I loved Morgana being 3 steps ahead and already having answers to questions they didn't even know they had. The regicide was chef's kiss, glad it was Morgana in the end and not Merlin. Arthur handled that better than i thought. Very cute and sweet, i love Arthur's love for Merlin in this fic! Overall a sweet and mostly fluff with some angst. A solid 8.5/10 -

Very well writen.
Love the complex emotions that were explored. The awakening of Arthur was hilarious and i laughed myself stupid imagining Harry agresively shaking him!
Love love love Arthur's emotional competence and maturity. And that's saying something cause he is the farthest of those descriptions posible.
I give it a 9/10
