But Sprout doesn't let go immediately after he has stood up. Cosmo tilts his head as he tries to read the expression on his best friend's face. His eyes shifted elsewhere and a nervousness tugs at his lips.
Cosmo feels his face flush, his gaze shifted over to how Sprout held his hands now, seemingly grabbing the other when he hadn't noticed. His thumb nervously gliding over his own knuckles, a simple action that made Cosmo feel weirdly giddy. Anticipation pounding in his chest as Cosmo tried to meet his friend's eyes.
"So uhm, Cosmo about... last night-"

Silence.
Cosmo sits up so fast he kicks his pillows off, awake in an instant.
“What."
“We reviewed your application and would like to invite you for an in-person assessment interview tomorrow afternoon!"
“...What."
"I've sent the address and additional information to your email.” The voice adds on, clearly unbothered. “We'll slot you in at three, ‘kay?"
"...What…"
The recruiter pauses politely.
“Is that a yes? Shall we be expecting you?”
Cosmo opens and closes his mouth several times like a fish out of water.
OR
Cosmo signs up to be a space chef and traverses to different planets with experienced astronauts, only to find out everything he ends up experiencing is above his pay grade despite the lucrative salary.
