After so long being the hunter, Shane is now the hunted - he just doesn’t quite know it yet.

Summary
“Papa?” Hana questions, hands now on her hips and staring him down. Shane comes up behind her and pets her curls soothingly. She glances up at him before returning to look at Ilya suspiciously.
“Yes baby it’s Papa although he looks a little different right now,” Shane reasons mildly before fixing Ilya with a look, cocking his hip to the side. Ilya goes to explain himself desperately but then a voice pipes up.
“Where’s your hair?” Niko asks softly, hand coming to touch his dark brown hair that has grown to have soft curls that lick at the tops of his ears, as if checking his own hair is still there.
“Yes, that’s a great question Niko,” Shane says to their son before looking at his husband pointedly, “where is your hair Ilya?”
Ilya loses a bet, and returns home with a buzzcut. He has some explaining to do.

Summary
Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov both need one thing to live their dreams of playing for the NHL: a mating bite.
Shane's an omega, and the League doesn't allow unmated omegas to play hockey. Ilya's a Russian alpha, who needs a mate to get a U.S. visa. Their slightly harebrained solution? Bite each other, and let the unfinished bond fade.
After five years of stupid texts, awkward heat-care packages, and dancing around their feelings, the bond still hasn't faded and ignoring it has become impossible—something's got to give.

Summary
Shane Hollander is only the second omega to play for the NHL. He's grateful, really, to Montreal for giving him this opportunity. It shouldn't matter that he's only there because of a development in sports-science that borders on pseudoscience. Or that he's only allowed to play as goalie, where extra padding and his alpha teammates can protect his delicate omega sensibilities.
But it does.
Especially when his contract has a no-mating clause the team goes uncomfortably far to ensure compliance with or when his rival's touch triggers a very inconvenient mating bond before he can even play in his first game.

ABO Inconvenient Soulmate AU with non-traditional pack dynamics that loosely follows canon. Happy ending!
