Summary
Forced to leave medical school because he could no longer afford it, Dennis Whitaker takes a job as a janitor in Pittsburgh's prestigious PTMC hospital. Though his days are spent cleaning blood and trauma rooms rather than saving lives, working in the ER is the closest he has been to his dream in years. Determined not to let go of his passion for medicine, Dennis finds himself drawn back into the world he thought he had lost forever. But what if a doctor discovers his talent and gives everything to help him. What if Michael Robinavitch finds a new life purpose through a talented young man who seemed incapable of leaving his mind.
Or, a Hucklerobby AU where Dennis is a janitor, Robby being the one willing to give him everything he ever wanted.

Summary
As he walked across the rooftop, he almost missed the figure standing at the edge, practically offering himself to the void below. He couldn't figure who it was but his senses exploded like earlier before the announcement of the Pitt Fest. Without thinking, Dennis shot a web that stuck to the man’s back, pulling him backward against the barrier, away from danger.
“What the fuck?!” the man cursed, now clinging tightly to the railing.
“That wasn’t a good idea, sir. You wouldn’t survive a fall like that—even from the top of a hospital.” He couldn't hear his own words, his heartbeat was too loud.
The man turned to face him, and for a moment his lungs forgot to breathe, the sirens in his head had gone silent because he recognized the familiar face of his mentor, Dr. Robinavitch. When Robby realized who he was dealing with, he let out a small, hollow laugh.
Or…
Dr. Robby develops a weird attraction for Spider-man after he saved him from jumping off the roof of the Pitt after the events of the PittFest. What he ignores is that his savior’s identity is actually Dennis Whitaker, his shy new student doctor.

Summary
“You were in an accident. Please, listen to me. Get back on the bed.”
Dennis stills at that, giving him that same, blank look from before. Robby wants to shut his eyes. He never wants to see it again.
He tilts his head. “Accident?”
“You were—” Robby says, and doesn’t miss the desperation in his own voice. “I just told you. You were in an accident. Don’t you remember?”After an argument about Robby’s resignation from the Pitt, Dennis gets into a car crash that makes him unable to retain short-term memories. Including the fight they just had, and Robby’s imminent departure. It’s up to Robby to nurse him back to health, and choose which truth to tell him.
Or, Dennis gets anterograde amnesia.

Summary
A violent daytime storm knocks out the power. Robby and Whitaker find themselves trapped in darkness and stifling heat for hours, layers come off, walls come down, and one impulsive, desperate kiss changes everything
How do you pretend something never happened when you can still taste it? As the storm rages and the ER demands their focus, Robby and Whitaker are forced to confront the terrifying truth: the kiss didn’t just break the rules, it broke something open inside both of them.
(recommended: Read Confined Spaces on my profile for better context!)

Full-season expansion of 'Confined Spaces'.
Confined Spaces: "When the elevator stalls mid-shift, trapping Robby and Whitaker between floors, it should just be a small, quick, glitch. Instead, a power outage, a head injury, and too much heat in too small a space, force everything they've been pretending not to feel into the open, leading to a breathtaking first kiss”
This story expands that moment into one complete shift. It will explore; what was happening in the Pitt before the power outage, a deeper view into the intense hours they were stuck and will follow the complicated aftermath across the rest of the shift.

Summary
“I haven’t really been to a wedding where I’ve, uh… let loose. But, hey,” Dennis shrugged, “maybe I’m doing it wrong.”
“If I hadn’t already agreed to go to this conference, I’d offer to go with you,” Robby said casually. “Show you how it’s done. I’ve got a good track record as a plus-one, too.” Dennis had to say something. To interrupt. To shut this down. But what was he supposed to say? No, you can’t be my plus one, because I lied about my cousin, and there is no wedding, and it seems a little weird to bring a date to a fucking funeral– “Apparently parents love it when you bring home a doctor.”
And just like that, the bubble popped.
“I’m not gay,” Dennis snapped.
He had never hated the sound of his own voice as much as he did right then.
---
Or, Dennis is anxiously headed home for a "wedding" in Broken Bow, Nebraska, the details of which are increasingly fuzzy. Robby's got a medical conference in Omaha that same weekend. So they carpool. Seventeen hours both ways in an enclosed space with no way out except a tuck and roll. This'll go great.- Language:
