Dim red light highlighted the round stages staggered throughout, where things were happening that made Steve’s throat go tight. People were writhing on the dance floor, wearing everything from lingerie to what Steve thought might be collars. At one of the booths lining the walls a man was hand-feeding his partner, who was kneeling at his feet. Something fluttered in Steve’s stomach at that. He had to get out of here. Now.

“Huh?” Somehow, he and Robin had moved up in line, and there was a bouncer in front of him, one eyebrow raised in amusement. He had blond curls that looked like they’d been bronzed by a god, and biceps to match. Steve definitely wasn’t straight.or

Steve knows Eddie is into some kinky shit. From cuffs and chains decorating the bedroom walls to the abundance of leather hanging up in his closet, it is the worst-kept secret, like everything else about Eddie. Though he can wear his entire personality on the back of a jean jacket for the whole town to gawk at where he can’t see them, God forbid Steve actually ask if he’ll show him the ropes.
Behind that ‘I’m so dark and mysterious’ schtick Steve fell for, hook, line, and sinker, Eddie is a shy leathersex fraud. But Steve’s got even more learning to do, and Eddie better be prepared to cut the crap and whip him into shape if he wants Steve to— what, choke him out? Tie him up? Slap him around some? Oh, who is he kidding! Steve could never do anything like that to another guy!

Of course, when Robin said she needed him to wait around for several hours, he jumped to call Eddie. Just to get the guy out of the house, he figured. They both could do with someone to talk to, anyway, and it gave Steve a break from the driving.
