They haven’t seen each other in person in three years. Nicholas looks the same, only he doesn’t. There’s something more calm about him, less manic in his desire to be wild and free while pressed into the confines of an idol role. He’s a little bigger, and a little softer around the face. He’s still as terribly striking to Euijoo, making his palms itch.
Euijoo shields his eyes with a hand as he looks up at Nicholas. “Hi, Nichol,” he starts, because someone has to.
“You think you could come here without me knowing?” Nicholas asks.
Euijoo takes a break from his acting and variety darling career to go on a trip to Taipei.

"It's nice to meet you," Bachira says when Reo takes his hand. He shakes it twice, lets go. Then, he adds, "I'm sorry."
Sorry for your loss. Sorry for taking his place. Sorry, maybe just in general. Reo forgives him—what can you possibly say in a situation like this, auditioning for a dead man's position?
"Don't be," Reo says flatly. He sets his cello case down by his feet with a thunk. "Let's play."
