Summary
“It’s almost time,” Sanji grins. His eyes are bright, and he’s bouncing lightly on the balls of his feet. The corner of his lips curve upwards. “You remember your lines?”
Heat prickles at the base of Zoro’s throat. He bares his teeth to compensate.
“I had’em memorized before you even knew this show existed, Curly.”
Sanji hums. “...Good,” he clips, nose tipping up. “Wouldn’t want you causing a scene.”
Zoro flits his eyes across the other man.
They’d outfit Sanji in a flourishing blue blouse, with an open neckline exposing the pale of his throat and the narrow line of his collarbones. His black pants are gleaming from the stretch of skintight fabric over unreasonably long legs.
It’s a necessity for the ropework, but still-
Zoro’s gaze catches.
It’s an unnecessary distraction.
“Green! Up in five!” A stagehand yells.
Quickly followed by- “Blue! Up in ten!”
“Got it!” Sanji calls, gaze unwavering from Zoro as he returns the reminder. “See you on the other side, Greeny,” he drawls, a grin still tugging at his mouth.
Zoro’s lips curl into a smirk, “with pleasure, Blue.”

Summary
The summer breeze sweeps the hair around Sanji’s crown.
Maybe this island is exactly what they need.
A formal outing, just the two of them. A bonafide, unmistakable date.
Surely, once they did things properly, Sanji would know what they are.
The blond blows his mouth free of smoke.
“We should go together,” Sanji says.
Zoro cranes his head to the side, facing him. “What’da mean?”
“...To the carnival.” Sanji tries again. “We should … go together,” he repeats. Dearly hoping his cheeks haven't taken on the shade of a raspberry.⊰══ ♡ 🎟️ ♡ ══⊱
Sanji and Zoro go on their very first date at an entirely normal boardwalk fair.

Summary
"Something super special came in this week you should check out.”
Franky brushes non-existent dust from the counter before placing down a module case. The contents are visible behind the clear walls of its container and Zoro’s eyebrows raise in surprise as he reads the brand listed along the edge of the equipment.
“A Germa66 module?”“Not just any module- One of their mercenary companions.” Franky grins, popping the case open with a nudge of his thumb. “You’ve seen the standard runs, I’ll bet. Poison Pink, Sparking Red, Dengeki Blue, Winch Green…”
Zoro huffs. “Hard to miss’em,” he grunts. The ads for them are plastered across the city, half the bounty hunters at the top of the boards carried one of them.
With a careful pinch of his fingers, the cyborg lifts the module up so that it catches the light. “This one, though-” He murmurs. “Is one I’ve never seen in production before.”
The edges of the module highlight cerulean blue under the shop's fluorescents. The printed white of bold text stands out across the front.

Summary
Sanji makes a soft noise, folding into Zoro’s side with a hum, his lithe hands curling around his partner's waist as he dips his nose into the curve of his neck.
Zoro slides a palm along the length of his spine, enjoying the closeness for a moment.
Sanji treats his profession with unbending honor and passion. He demands perfection that no one but himself can define, and no one else can meet. It’s one of the many things Zoro loves about him.
But Sanji bears the title of lover just as fiercely.
It’s not often that Zoro is able to return care to the same degree. On a usual evening, Sanji would bat his hands away before Zoro got this far, demanding control of the situation by way of curses and kisses.
But tonight- Sanji only leans closer.

Summary
“Don’t drag me.”
“You’re fucking heavy,” Zoro groans, muscles straining as he lugs his stupid mermaid boyfriend ashore.
“You’re ruining the romance, asshole,” Sanji gripes, his nails digging into the meat of Zoro’s biceps as his tail slaps against the shallows with audible irritation.
“Shut up,” Zoro barks out, jaw tight around a grin. “I’ll ravage you once I won’t drown to do it.”
“Sounds noncommittal.”
