Summary
Mara Delaney doesn’t think of herself as a hero.
She works at a grocery store, helps her dad run the nonprofit theatre he built, and gets home in time for dinner with her brothers. That’s her life. Simple. Manageable.
Until the night she hears someone scream—a real scream of terror—and runs toward it.
Getting involved wasn’t a mistake.
But now she’s crossed paths with him.
The man behind the rumors. Her whole world is about to change, whether she realizes it yet or not.
Marcus doesn’t want attention. He doesn’t need the spotlight to do what’s right. And he definitely doesn’t want someone like Mara—reckless, stubborn, and far too observant—stepping into situations she doesn’t understand.
But Mara isn’t afraid of him.
Not the mask. Not the violence that seems to follow him… or maybe the other way around. And Marcus is starting to realize that might be the most dangerous part.

Summary
Catherine Moretti takes her job in Tenant Accounts seriously.
Numbers are facts. Records can be truth. Systems work if you care enough to use them properly.
So when an eighty-five-year-old tenant is suddenly facing eviction despite decades of perfect payments, Cat knows something is wrong.
What she doesn’t expect is how deep that “wrong” goes or who’s standing behind it.
Because some systems don’t break.
They’re built that way.

Summary
Rowan Harper is careful.
Careful with doors. Careful with air. Careful with people.
He works nights, helps raise his sisters, triple-checks locks, and absolutely does not go on dates.Jamie, unfortunately, is patient, perceptive, and very good at standing close without crowding. They’ve been Rowan’s best friend for years — long enough to know when to joke, when to wait, and when to step forward first.
When a 4 a.m. conversation turns into a Valentine’s Day coffee date, two best friends discover that maybe neither of them missed the tutorial on how this is supposed to work.
Maybe they were just learning at the same pace all along.
Soft best friends to lovers. First dates. Anxiety. Domestic quiet. Heart-shaped cookies that are slightly stale but still good enough.Series

Summary
Dew has gorgeous eyes. Before his transition, Rain's been told they were a clear blue, not unlike his own. He's pictured it, though, and he thinks he prefers them like this: warm, vibrant amber, glinting like a gold coin at the bottom of a fountain when the light hits just right. They're kinder than you might expect, and a little tired. Framing it all are long, pretty eyelashes that Rain doesn't appreciate enough.
Right now, they're also glassy. Unfocused. Not entirely blank, though: a small ring of purple runs around his dilated pupils.
dew gets to be a toy; rain does, too. phantom benefits.
