His second instinct is to blast a hole straight through his laptop screen with his heat vision, which isn't much better.


    Clark, in an attempt to make some spare cash, unintentionally stumbles into the world of superhero fanfiction, becomes a prolific writer for Gotham's OTP, and tries his best to fend off rival fans who want him to convert to superbat instead.

    When Grace gets seemingly teleported by means unknown into the SM-13 right as it was nearing The Light, both Simon and Grace have no idea what is happening. Grace knows he was supposed to be in his house on Erid, Simon knows this new guy cannot possibly be a hallucination, and Ava, upon hearing Grace ramble about theories for how he got there, knows that new guy is Smart. Could-Secure-Our-Survival Smart.
    She orders Simon to bring Grace back to the surface, and thus begins Grace's ordeal in a starless universe.

They don’t always end up meeting in the waking world, but when they do the relationships vary greatly: some formed romantic bonds, some formed platonic bonds, and some would try to kill each other. Some people have claimed that they’re connected to someone from a different time, be they someone from the far future or a famous historical figure.

    Ryland wasn’t sure he believed those claims. The person he was connected to clearly did, but Ryland was pretty sure he was making everything up. After all, Simon also claimed that all of the stars and planets were gone, which was just impossible.
