Summary
V1's head snaps up to look at him, blown out lens piercing right into his soul. It takes a step towards him, body leaning all up in his personal space, and then it holds its hands out, opening up the cage presenting the bug to him. [FOR YOU]
"Uhhh…"
Dumbly, he holds his own hand out and V1 plops the cockroach onto his palm. The bug just sits there, antennae fluttering about in confusion.
Satisfied, V1 dramatically spins on its heel and stalks off deeper into the building. "Hey, wait! Machine, that's not- oh what does it matter, you're not listening to me…"

V1, juiced up on the electric charge of a car battery, causes problems for Gabriel who just wants to keep their journey across Earth chugging along at a decent pace.

Summary
The problem with being one of only two V models ever constructed was that meant that spare parts are exceedingly hard to come by. Anything scrounged up from other machines were more than likely completely incompatible with its specialized design structure.
That meant when something breaks- there was a decent chance it could not be properly fixed…

OR V1 finally admits okay, something is WRONG and has Gabriel take them to the one machine that might be able to help. Tf you mean you don’t do proper maintenance you idiot??
