The seeming soft touch of Simon's fingers felt like an unforgiving pressure on Grace's arm, a pressure terrifyingly resembling something all too familiar. Different sensations ran over Rylands body. The grass tickling his face, which in any other memory would be a pleasant sensation, the sharp prickle at his neck, and still that unforgiving pressure of someone gripping his forearm, holding him in place.

Ryland, unknowingly to him, has developed a rather intense fear of human contact and it only comes to light when he interacts with Simon for the first time. He has to figure out what is happening to him and deal with it. But can he do it alone, or will he need help from a few friends?
