Summary
A jumbled message from Captain Marvel leads Superman and Batman to the scene of a brutal crime in progress. When the dust settles, they're left with a magic obsessed madman on his way to prison, a grievously injured homeless child, and no sign of Captain Marvel.
While Superman and Batman try to track down the missing hero, Bruce Wayne welcomes yet another black haired blue eyed orphan into the ranks, and struggles to navigate the waters of handling a child who is *not* a vigilante. And thank god for that, too. Bruce has had just about enough of children being made into soldiers.
Billy Batson is trying very, *very* hard not to freak out. His success is debatable.

Peter should have known better. He did know better. Doctor Banner had warned him against it. He had ignored the man’s advice, and now people—his people—were suffering due to his actions. Jean had emphasised that people like them don't get to live normal lives. He had tried so hard to prove otherwise, only to hurt her in the process.

The creation of the universal power inhibitor had unforeseen consequences. Now in an unknown universe with a traumatised teen leaning on him for support, Peter vows to get Jean back to their home no matter what.
Meanwhile, Damian Wayne makes an effort to get to know his new classmate who is most certainly a meta with a perilous home life. He assumes the fault lies with her flippant guardian, but upon meeting the man Damian realises that the situation may be a lot bigger than he had first anticipated.

“You’ll be safe, Peter.”
Those were Doctor Strange’s last words before launching Peter into a new universe: a place where Peter Parker didn’t exist, without his friends, without his family, and without his suit. What Strange didn’t mention was that “being safe” meant waking up in a culture tank inside a clandestine laboratory, stripped of four years of his physical life and trapped in the modified body of a thirteen-year-old preteen. Oh, and now he has an unplanned sister!
Meanwhile, Marinette believed her story had ended when Gabriel Agreste sacrificed her to bring his wife back during the final battle. He had lost the war, and her death was supposed to be the end of it all. However, she awoke in that same laboratory, being tortured, until she managed to escape with Peter, a strange boy with whom she apparently shares a biological link.
With newfound abilities, no idea where they are, and no money, Parker's luck and Marinette's legendary bad luck have reached their most absurd point. Will they manage to survive their misfortunes, or will they be captured and adopted by the terrifying creature they call Batman? By the way, what does this Dick Grayson guy want with them?
